Year Two

Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology
Practical Applications in Sport and Exercise Psychology
Training Principles to Practice
Strategic Business Analysis and Management
Sports Marketing
Professional Practice
Research Design and Analysis
In addition, you have the opportunity to take part in Coaching Education Opportunities throughout the course, which lead to nationally recognised coaching awards.

Year Three
Optional placement year

Final Year

Entrepreneurship
Strategic Implementation
Sport Project and Dissertation
Choose two modules from the following:

Strength, Power and Endurance for Sport and Exercise
Advanced Topics in Sport and Exercise Psychology
Child and Adolescent Growth, Health and Performance
Event Management.

Career opportunities

You will develop and apply a range of essential, transferable management skills that are greatly respected by employers.

Recent Sports Science and Management graduates have gone onto work in the following roles and companies:

Leicester City Football Club – Customer Insight Executive
Exeter City Football Club – Marketing and Promotions Assistant
Forest Holidays – Graduate Scheme
Gateway College – Fitness Advisor
Lambeth School – Physical Education Teacher
Self Employed – Personal Trainer.
Graduate salaries range from £10,000 – £30,000 per year.

On successful completion of the course, many graduates choose to undertake further study on one of our Masters-level courses or MPhil and PhD research degrees.
