Programme structure
The full-time programme involves nine months of taught study. This period is divided into two semesters, with examinations at the end of each semester in January and May/June. After having completed the taught part of the programme, full-time students then continue work on their dissertation, to be submitted in September. The part-time programme typically involves taught study over two nine-month periods, followed by work for six months on a dissertation.
Teaching on the KISM Masters course will be organised in two-hour or four-hour sessions. Teaching takes place during the autumn, spring and summer terms.
The dissertation module provides an opportunity for students to develop, execute and write out a piece of research into a specific aspect relevant to the programme. Dissertation projects are undertaken by individual students under supervisory guidance.
