Programme structure
The taught element of the programme consists of a maximum of 12 modules and is followed by a substantial research project leading to a dissertation. The specific goals are:
- To give you an advanced knowledge of aerodynamics;
- To give you an understanding of the use, and an appreciation of the limitations, of computational and experimental methods as applied to aerodynamics.
- To enable you to acquire advanced knowledge and practical skills needed for a professional career aerodynamics and to provide you with specialist knowledge and skills relevant to that theme.
- To enhance your transferable skills, including critical analysis, problem solving, project management, decision making, leadership, and communication by oral, visual and/or written means.
- To equip you with specialist knowledge, scientific and technical expertise and research skills for further research and/or application in aerodynamics.
