Whether you’re already working in the field or just starting out, you can tailor this course to suit your needs, by blending core and optional modules.

This practical Masters degree has been developed with the Institution of Chemical Engineers and the Energy Institute to equip you with the skills and expertise needed for work in sectors including industry, education, public administration and commerce.

For recent graduates, our blend of advanced theory and practical experience is the perfect introduction to the sector. And if you’re a seasoned pro, we can give you the training you need to advance your career or branch out in a new direction.

All our tutors are actively involved in research and consultancy in their field.

Through lectures, tutorials and project work, they’ll teach you the principles and techniques of advanced energy and environmental engineering. You will also learn project management and research skills, how to present your findings and how to write technical reports.

You’re assessed by assignments, exams and a research or design project dissertation.
