Overview

This course provides an innovative response to the challenges of the
environmental, economic and social climate of the early 21st century.
You will engage in the full depth and breadth of contemporary
architectural education whilst also participating in interdisciplinary
work with other building and construction courses.

If you choose this course you will benefit from:

    architectural education and is currently seeking prescription at Part
    1 level fromthe Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UKĀ

    and have professional industrial experience, as well as visiting

  • Overseas visits and field trips are an integral component of the
    course, reflecting the international nature of architecture. We are
    also collaborating with architecture courses in Germany and the
    Netherlands on joint student projects

Our course integrates the architecture of buildings and urban
landscapes with environmental design for a sustainable built
environment and communities for the future.

This is a course which brings together arts and the humanities with
science and technology. In the first two years of study you will cover
the fundamental areas of architecture including: design, technology,
cultural context, communication and professional practice.

In the third year you will undertake a comprehensive design project
that incorporates the core subjects of design, technology and
environment. You will also work with other professions on an
integrated design and construction project.

in a range of architectural practices and other design industries
