From your personal study plan you work towards the final exam; the lecture recital. We give you the space to realise your ambitions, ideas and goals. You are free to present your lecture recital in any way depending on your own interests, competences and qualities. Of course you are taught by our own renowned teachers. Additionally you work together with international guest teachers during several periods during the years. Ensemble and orchestra performances are a crucial part of the masters programme. From your own playing you have the opportunity to experiment with chamber Music, you deepen your playing skills during the Intensive Master Weeks or you can research your own musical practice. You can choose different optional modules within the Open Credits. You choose these based on your personal goals and competences and fitting your study plan. The complete study programme is aimed at further development of a curious and innovative professional attitude, which helps you to react more focused on the developments within and outside of the professional field.

Career opportunities

After you graduate you can find a job as a musician in a symphonic orchestra or chamber music ensemble, in (one of Holland’s) military ensembles or in a (chamber) choir.
