The University of Southampton MBA full time course will give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to challenge conventional thinking and succeed in today’s fast-moving business world by really standing out and making a difference.
The full-time MBA Master of Business Administration is designed for graduates who have at least four years, but probably more, of relevant work experience since graduation and who now wish to pursue a challenging programme of study to develop their managerial potential. On the MBA, you must expect to work with ideas and concepts that are complex and that need real intellectual effort to master fully. In return you will receive an education that prepares you for a career as a skilled and reflective manager. Our MBA Master of Business Administration is neither a crash course in business buzz-words nor a catalogue of quick fix solutions. Your personal learning is enhanced by putting theoretical concepts into the context of your own experience.
The Southampton MBA Master of Business Administration welcomes participants that are looking for a challenge; are keen to question and debate ideas with other bright and similarly motivated managers; and seek an all round management education and development exercise.
Full time study on the MBA full time course follows a schedule in which formal instruction takes place on 3 or 4 days per week. The rest of the week is used for group work and individual study.A assessment occurs throughout the course with formal examinations in January. In accordance with AMBA requirements, participants should expect at least 500 hours of formal contact with our academic staff. Satisfactory performance in the course assessments results in permission to continue to work between July and September to prepare and submit an MBA Master of Business Administration dissertation.
