TUITION FEES

Academic Administration Fee:  €250 per year - is applicable each academic year to all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in addition to the tuition fees. Where a student commences a programme in the January intake, an Academic Administration Fee of €125.00 is applicable for the period January to August.

Bachelor´s Tuition fee

The amount of tuition fee to be paid will depend on the study programme, the location and your citizenship.

For example, Bachelor tuitions fees can range from €6,000 to €9,000 per year for EU students and generally tuition fee for a non-EU student would be: €12 795.

Master tuitions fees will depend on the programme and location

Dublin, from €9,000 to  €32,000 per year

Cork and Limerick 14,000 to €15,000 per year


ADDITIONAL FEES/COSTS:

These are known as R.I.A.P. Fees:
- Registration Fee €250 Compulsory fee each academic year.
- International Student Support Fee €200 Compulsory fee each academic year.
- Protection of Enrolled Learner Fee €285*/ €245**/ €305*** Compulsory fee each academic year, calculated as 2% of total tuition fee, plus registration fee before scholarships.

QQI award fee is also due (only in award year):
Ordinary bachelor’s degree: €150
Honours bachelor’s degree: €200
Postgraduate Diploma/Master's: €200

Scholarships and Bursaries

In 2021 all EU Living Abroad students enrolling in Cork or Limerick on full bachelor's degree programmes will be awarded a 25% bursary (€1,500) for each year of study.

There are two categories of scholarships and bursaries available to Griffith College applicants from outside the EU - a Griffith College Cork (GCC) Bursary and an Academic Merit Scholarship (AMS).

The GCC Bursary is awarded to each applicant who is successful in being offered a place on a Griffith College Cork programme.

The Academic Merit Scholarship (AMS) is an additional scholarship which is offered to students who demonstrate a strong academic performance at the time of application. Scholarships are awarded to applicants at the time of admission to Griffith College Cork and are applicable in each year of study where a learner progresses from one year of a programme to the next, for more information see here.

You have to keep in mind that an €300 application fee payable online is required with all bookings.


Dublin Rooms

Students at Dublin campuses can take advantage of Griffith Halls of Residence, conveniently located on-campus. It houses over 600 students and is within walking distance of Dublin city centre on the South Circular Road. 

 The price ranges depends on the location and the type of room you require, and the location e. g.:
-Single room shared bathroom  €30.36
-Single room privated bathroom  €33.93
-Single room ensuite  €38.93
-Large Single Ensuite from €46.43 to €56.69 per night or full academic year €500

Prices can range from €4947.00 - €5095.00 for 9 months (520 - 570/month).

The standard rates for the full academic year can be as follows:

€5,360 for a single bed ensuite room/€5,490 for a double bed ensuite room/€4,920 for the single bed non-ensuite room for full academic year (9 months - Sept - May)

Your monthly costs can vary depending on where you are studying in Ireland, as well as the type of accommodation and your lifestyle, but on average, you may need between €7,000 and €12,000 per year.

Griffith College Cork runs a variety of both full-time and part-time, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Law, Business, Journalism, Computing Science and Pharmaceutical Management as well as professional programmes in Law and Accountancy. The college is based on a large 5 acre campus on Wellington Road, close to the centre of Cork city. Griffith College Cork is strongly committed to the creation of a positive learning environment. This relaxed and productive atmosphere is achieved by developing a strong pastoral care ethos, evidenced by the open-door policy of lecturers, the operation of all lectures on a first-name basis, the provision of both written and oral feedback on formal and informal assignments, and the close, friendly working relationship between students and staff, all of which are based on a spirit of trust and collaboration.

-Built in 1909 by the Honan family, the Chapel has been witness to the many guises that this magnificent building has adopted, from hospital to third-level College and everything in between. -Lecture rooms and computer labs are equipped with the latest technology. The ‘UbiCast’ facility allows lectures to be live streamed and recorded for students to view on the ‘Moodle’ platform. There are a number of computer labs dotted around the campus, these are available for students to use when classes are not ongoing.

-The radio studio allows our journalism students to output live broadcasts, record podcasts and conduct interviews as they would on any radio station in the world.-
