Existing research collaborations with Austrian and international universities will be expanded.

Career opportunities

With the two catalogs of electives “ Structural Engineering” and “*Integral Planning and Building *”, students can specialize individually in the second and third semesters of their studies . The graduates will work in companies in the construction industry, the construction industry, the building trade, the construction supply industry or in research institutes, engineering, architecture and civil engineering offices. The path to self-employment (e.g. as an expert) is open to graduates as well as working in public administration or with building supervisory authorities and public clients.

Top job prospects

With around 250,000 jobs, the construction industry is one of the most important national employers . Around a quarter of the nationwide construction work is generated in Upper Austria .
