All applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships of up to € 12,000 (for Master programmes) and € 15,000 (for Bachelor programmes) per year.

BA / BSc in the social sciences (e.g. business, economics, political science, psychology, sociology.
The programme is also open to students from the humanities and natural science (e.g. history, health or other neuro sciences with a quantitative orientation).

This joint program with the University of Bremen is research-driven and leads to a Master of Arts degree in International Relations: Global Governance and Social Theory. The fields covered are: theories and issues of global governance, changing context of global governance, theorizing social order and change, and methodology. A consecutive PhD is offered by the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), a joint project by Jacobs University and University of Bremen, funded by the German Excellence Initiative.
The program prepares students for a career in academia, international organizations, public administration and non-governmental organizations.
