Programme structure
What will I study?
Year One
Core modules include:
Foundations of Managing and Organising
Accounting and Finance for International Managers
Foreign Language
Marketing and Operations Management
Quantitative Methods for International Business
Culture, Communication and Learning.
Year Two
First six months
All students will study core modules.
Economics for International Business
International Business Environment
Intercultural Effectiveness and Language.
Second six months
Full-time students choose one from:
Study abroad
Enterprise project
Community project
Internship
Taught modules (see below)
Placement students and full-time students that have selected taught modules above will study:
Intercultural Effectiveness and Language
Exploring Strategy and Innovation.
Plus one optional module from:
Managing Global Supply Chain
Marketing Management.
Year Three
Placement year for those on the four-year course. Students can also choose to spend the year studying abroad with a partner institution.
Final Year
Core modules include:
International Business Research Project
Leadership and Employability
International Tourism; Sustainability Development and Impact
International Strategic Management
Global Business in a Changing World.
Plus one optional module from:
Global Supply Chain Strategy
International Marketing and Communications
Jean Monnet Europe and the World Economy
