Programme structure
In this programme, you take four common modules: Understanding education research, Learning and teaching, Policy and curriculum and Dissertation
You also choose an option, from topics such as: Inclusion and social justice in action, Globalisation and internationalisation in education, Learning and digital literacies, Mentoring and staff development, School effectiveness and improvement, Curriculum issues in mathematics education. These reflect our research expertise within the School. You may also be able to take an option from a range of master’s modules offered across the University.
You complete the programme with two compulsory pathway modules: selecting from Context of lifelong and work-related learning, Investigating innovations in learning and teaching and Training models and evaluation.
