Programme structure
The compulsory technical subjects provided in the curriculum deepen the basic mechatronic training in the areas of mathematics, control engineering: robotics, signal processing, control technology, industrial safety technology as well as algorithms and data structures.
In addition, non-technical subjects are provided in the curriculum, which represent an important addition to the technical specialization. They strengthen the economic, linguistic and social skills of the stude.
The University of Applied Sciences master’s degree in “Automation Technology” builds on the broad, solid education of the Bachelor’s degree and offers, in close cooperation with regional and international companies, a qualified specialization in accordance with the interests of the students in the elective modules offered

Career opportunities
As an AT graduate, you will be able to plan, manufacture and optimize machines, systems, processes, manufacturing and production systems as well as measurement and control devices and systems .
These competencies include the use of modern technologies such as image processing or simulation tools as well as the use of robot and handling technology.
The training enables you to perform managerial tasks in the areas of production, quality assurance, research and development as well as for all areas with an interdisciplinary character .
