Programme structure
The BA (Hons) in Business Management (Finance) program develops specialized skills that will enable students to take up a position in the finance industry. Students will be introduced to the key concepts of accounting and expand their knowledge in financial analysis and projections.
This program has also been designed to provide students with a solid understanding of other management disciplines, such as marketing, purchasing and supply chain and data analysis, among others, so that they acquire a global business vision. This program develops a student’s teamwork, leadership and project management skills through the work and assessments they undertake.
The BA (Hons) in Business Management (Finance) is a six-semester, three-year program (180 ECTS). The core courses taught during the first year will give students a solid grounding in all essential business disciplines, while the second and third years incorporate their chosen pathway.
BA (Hons) in Business Management (Finance) students will participate in a business simulation module where they will manage a problematic scenario within a virtual environment. In addition, students of this program will:
Develop specialist skills that include financial analysis and projections.
Contextualize the local and global financial environment.
Apply financial theories and analysis to real business functions.
Manage financial decision-making processes and problem-solving.
