In addition to developing your capabilities as an animator, the course will enable you to develop a wide range of transferable skills, from research and analysis techniques, to problem-solving, to communication and negotiation. Animators are increasingly in demand as the industry expands. Our interdisciplinary approach gives flexibility and will develop in you a wider view of the world that is both attractive to employers, and empowers you to create your own opportunities through creative entrepreneurship. You will find career opportunities not only in animation production, but also in the games industry, television motion graphics, compositing, special effects and advertising.
Graduates from Graphic Design & Multimedia have gone on to work in sectors such as publishing, graphic design, web design, media and arts administration, or are self-employed. This course also provides an excellent basis for further studies. Its interdisciplinary nature means that students develop skills that are attractive to employers.
