Career opportunities
Students may not wish to study a professional, legally, accredited course like the LLB but may
instead want to study a Criminology and Law programme that is relevant to their intended career
or areas of work or that gives the scope to seek graduate opportunities within the criminal justice
system including private law practice and legal advice clinics, the police, the courts, probation,
young offenders.
They will also be equipped to continue with further postgraduate study. In addition, those who
wish to pursue a career in the legal profession may be eligible to take the Common Professional
Examination/Graduate Diploma in Law.
