Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) We are looking for highly motivated, creative students with some prior experience in curating or a related area. Usually applicants will have an honours degree in the arts or humanities but those with other academic qualifications or relevant professional experience are also encouraged to apply. Work experience in the arts/museums/galleries sectors is desirable but not essential. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Other requirements | At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. The reference should be on letterhead paper and preferably typewritten. A motivation letter must be added to your application. A relevant portfolio is required. In addition to the general UWE Bristol application, candidates should submit with their application: - A programme idea for a one hour wildlife documentary (on a single side of A4) We will draw up a shortlist from the applications and those applicants on the shortlist will be invited to interview. |

MA Curating graduates have gone on to work in a range of professions in areas of social history, fine art, museum curating and film programming in various arts, culture and heritage-related organisations. There are also curating and programming opportunities at film festivals both nationally and internationally and options to teach or progress to further PhD study.
