The profession

Maintenance professionals work for multinationals all over the world as well as for small and medium businesses in the profit and non-profit sectors. You can work at an organisation with technical systems, at a producer of complex systems or as an independent consultant. Maintenance graduates work as Maintenance Engineer, Manager or Consultant, Project Engineer, Sales Engineer or Calculator.

You can pursue one of these or other professions in a wide range of workplaces, such as airports, wind turbine parks, solar panel manufacturers, refineries, oil rigs or the developers of medical equipment and systems for hospitals and care homes.

Title in International Maintenance Management

Once you have completed the International Maintenance Management programme, you will hold the title of ‘Bachelor of Engineering’, which is an internationally recognised title.

Due to the high demand for graduates with combined technical, business and management skills, you can step into a variety of sectors: aviation, energy, shipbuilding and shipping, or process engineering. Maintenance manager/engineer/advisor, project leader or asset manager for aircraft, wind turbine parks, medical equipment or water purification systems are just a few examples of job opportunities
