Programme structure
Stage One
During this foundational stage, you’ll develop your understanding of the key elements of business operations, the challenges in the current business landscape and future trends. You’ll explore data, information and intelligence, and get an insight into finance, marketing, and the tactics and techniques needed to understand and influence people.
Through our field trip programme, you’ll be able to experience how businesses work in practice. You’ll develop as an individual, and will learn to be confident working in teams, presenting and pitching ideas and making suggestions.
Stage Two
In this stage, you’II build your specialist business management skills and knowledge. Subjects will include management styles, managing projects and team learning and performance.
As part of your team, you’ll develop your understanding of, and capabilities in, managerial and team roles, learning to think and express yourself on a much deeper level in terms of data and business.
Stage Three
Underpinned by subjects including creative strategies, sustaining and growing businesses and professional practice, and as part of your team, you’ll continue to evolve your thinking by evaluating the business opportunity ideas you have developed. At the same time, you’ll undertake a substantive piece of academic work – either an applied project, a work placement or a dissertation.
