Career opportunities
This MEng Aeronautical Engineering course has been developed in collaboration with industry, ensuring quality and relevance to the modern working environment. The course meets the educational requirements to gain Chartered Engineer (CEng) status from either the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), or the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).
We have links with the regional aviation industry, which includes GE Aviation, BAMC, Nordam Europe, TES Aviation Group, and other members within the Aerospace Wales Forum. Some of the UK-based companies with which our students work include Rolls Royce, Sogeclair Aerospace, GE Aviation, MBDA, Zodiac, Easy Jet, Flybe, Airbus, BAMC, Gatwick Airport and TES Aviation.
