Career opportunities
Many graduates of Aberystwyth’s Department of History and Welsh History have gone into careers that are directly related to their degree subject – such as teaching, research or working in an archive or museum. Many other graduates have gone into diverse careers including accountancy, banking, marketing, administration, public relations, the computer industry, local government, the police force, social work and journalism.
