Programme structure
What will I study?
Our commitment is to educate you for management in an international environment. The course therefore includes a broad range of business subjects at both institutions, but in particular those with an international focus. These are joined by modules facilitating cultural and language learning.
Emphasis is placed throughout the degree on understanding the theoretical underpinning of international business together with furthering practical skills and knowledge. Studying at the University of Valencia will allow you the opportunity to study in both Spanish and English.
Year One
Full-time study at Nottingham Business School.
Modules include:
Foundations of Managing and Organising
Accounting and Finance for International Managers
Spanish Language
Marketing and Operations Management
Quantitative Methods for International Business
Culture, Communication and Learning.
Year Two
Full-time study at University of Valencia
Year Three
Half year study at University of Valencia
Half year internship in Spain or with a Spanish speaking company
Final year
Full-time study at Nottingham Business School.
Modules include:
Research Project
International Strategic Management
International Tourism – Sustainability, Development and Impact
Global Markets in a Changing World
Leadership and Employability (International Business).
Plus one optional module from:
Global Supply Chain Strategy
International Marketing and Communications
Jean Monnet Europe and the World Economy
Spanish Language.
