Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Direct admission to the programme is granted to holders of a Bachelor in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Geomatics, Bioengineering Sciences, Environmental Sciences. For other Bachelors in science, applied science and life sciences, admission will be evaluated by the Oceans and Lakes Steering Committee based on academic records and skills. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years with good overall scores (at least upper second class or equivalent) from a university or recognised equivalent. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. If your documents are not in English, French or Dutch they have to be officially tranlsated (by a sworn translator) into one of these 3 languages You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Other requirements | At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. NB! Please note that you must pay a 50 EURO application fee if you have a non Flemish diploma. University will process your application as soon as the fee has been deposited into their account. If you are accepted and enrol, the application you paid for that specific programme will be deducted from your tuition fees. For example: if you submit four applications, you should pay a total of four individual application fees: 200 EURO. Once you are enrolled in that programme, only 50 EURO will be deducted from your tuition fees. |
