Core/Compulsory modules: Statistical Theory and Linear Models; Statistical Computing; Design of Experiments; Generalised Linear Models; Bayesian Methods; Survival Analysis; Research Skills
Option modules: e.g. Topics in Statistics (research-led); Modelling Hierarchical (Multi-level and Longitudinal) Data; Computer Intensive Statistical Methods; Multivariate Analysis; Survey Methods; Bioinformatics; Statistical Genetics
A highlight of the programme is the 3-month dissertation completed over the summer, which will provide an opportunity to study a topic of your choice more deeply. There will be a broad range of Statistical topics available, reflecting the diverse research areas of our staff.
