Programme structure
A training in statistics offers a unique range of challenges and provides opportunities to work on a large variety of important problems in industry, environmental science, medical research and within the government. The technical skills that you will acquire are in great demand, as are the general skills of understanding and analysing problems and communicating the results to other scientists.
Transfer to this programme at the end of the first semester is possible from a number of other programmes in the School.
