Programme structure
This BN degree in mental health nursing has been designed to give you the best of both worlds: practical AND academic.
You will spend a lot of time in lectures and seminars benefitting from the knowledge of academics, many of whom are at the very forefront of their field.
You will also spend time on practice placements in both hospitals and in the community; giving you a real taste of what the job involves.

BN mental health nursing degree graduates go on to work in a variety of settings, including: shelters, addiction and self-harming services, dementia services, residential homes, prisons and acute units.
