Please describe your objectives, career aspirations, personal interests and plans Your application must contain scans of the following documents: To qualify for the Master’s degree programme Interactive Media, you must have completed a relevant Bachelor’s degree programme of at least 6 semester or a comparable higher education at university level (min. 180 ECTS-credits) at a recognized post-secondary institution. Additional requirements for this particular programme are: 60 ECTS credits (or equivalent) in computing/informatics. If you meet all of the formal requirements, you will be invited for an interview via Skype (approximately 20-30 minutes). Specific requirements for Non-EU applicants: Please be aware that the visa process can take up to 3 months, therefore you should send your application as early as possible! Programme structure
This two-year (4 semester) Master’s programme offers the following core subjects, which can be augmented by a selection of elective courses:
Interactive Media
Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, Cooperative Work Environments, Interactive Installations.
Game Development
Game Development, Game Engines, Realtime Graphics, Physics Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Player Games, Audio.
Online Media
Advanced Web Publishing, Rich Internet Applications, Semantic Web Services/Applications.
The curriculum is supplemented by workshops, seminars and a wide range of specialized courses focusing on specific topics in interactive media. A semester abroad at one of their international partner universities is possible due to a flexible curriculum.
